Honestly, I sometimes go a whole month (in cooler weather) without shaving. This might seem shocking to the well-groomed who make sure to wax, trim, pluck, and shave like clockwork, but I live in Vermont where its cold half the year. I can get away with it because I’m wearing multiple layers most of the time and I have light hair. However, now that temps are rising and I’m bringing out my shorts and t-shirts from storage, it’s time to actually pay attention to such things. But sometimes I just forget to shave when in the shower, or I miss a spot. This is why I love the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel so much. It was sent to me for review, and I was curious at first but after trying it I can tell you it is quite useful, and friendly to sensitive skin.

Showerless… yes. You do not need water to use this shave gel. It is perfect for situations in which you might need to shave on-the-go (it is a 3.4oz travel size). If your shower stall is too cramped, or in which you forget to shave in the shower and then get lazy (like me). Or, hey, glamping anyone? Though there is no need to lather, rinse, or wash, it does help to have a cloth on-hand to wipe away the hair that collects in the back of the razor.

It contains soothing natural essential oils of eucalyptus, clove, ginger, oat, and tea tree which help to calm sensitive skin. It is also paraben free, alcohol free, cruelty free, and vegan. This did not bother my skin at all and I was surprised with how smooth and moisturized it left my legs. After shaving you simply rub in the excess gel into your skin and don’t even need to apply moisturizer after (though I always apply extra body oil to my legs after shaving, just personal preference).
